Walk in the footsteps of successful navigators.
Your Career Change Navigation System
A holistic, structured, human-centered approach to navigating meaningful career change in the second half
Successful career change is built on three pillars
The Career Reinvention Navigation System offers a clear structure, strategies, and frameworks to help midlife professionals make sense of their current situation, expand their possibilities, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
It’s built on the belief that successful career change happens when three key, mutually reinforcing capacities are developed or improved in parallel: the ability to design and execute a strategic transition, the ability to stay grounded, adaptable, and supported throughout the process, and the ability to broaden and evolve one’s professional identity.
These capacities form the three pillars of the Career Change Navigation System:
Mastery – the strategic and practical cornerstone, providing methodology, principles, and process for navigating the transition.
Resilience – the foundation of sustainable reinvention, helping you manage uncertainty, build adaptability, remove internal barriers, and stay healthy and supported along the way.
Range – focused on expanding your skills, professional profile and narrative to unlock new, non-linear, opportunities and pathways.
Together, the pillars transform reinvention from a vague aspiration into a structured, empowering transition experience.
Mastery + Resilience + Range = Reinvention Succes
Part art and part science
Each pillar has a practical playbook to help you build capacity to succeed. They don’t provide the answer, but they will guide you so you can find yours. The art part hinges on you; how much of yourself, your energy, and commitment you put into the process.
Mastering career transition takes time. Trust the process, immerse yourself, and chances are you will find your new path as a result.
The Five-Episode Career Reinvention Process
Even though every transition is unique, most successful career changers move through some version of five transition episodes. The duration, intensity, and specific challenges of each episode vary from person to person. Still, the underlying purposes remain relevant for most people navigating a career change in midlife.
Principles-Based and Personal
There are no universal formulas for reorienting your career. But there is a lot to gain by learning from others who have successfully done it before you. These seven foundational principles are essential for approaching career change with the right mindset and improving your odds of success.
My lens is the whole human
Because everything is connected. A reinvented career means a reinvented life — and we can’t steer our lives if we’re unwell, or make sound decisions if we’re unclear on what matters most.
We’re a system. How we think, feel, learn, rest, and communicate shapes the possibilities in front of us.
That’s why I take a holistic approach to midlife career transition. I don’t believe in lightning-bolt epiphanies or radical overnight change. Shaping a career that fits requires intentional steps that compound into clarity and confidence over time.
